About Leah
My dream is to help create a world where people feel truly heard, deeply connected, and genuinely loved. I believe this vision can be realized by elevating the importance of relational connections in the implementation process—between individuals, families, communities, and the broader world.
Change is challenging—but it’s also where true transformation happens. It’s in those moments when a worker connects with a youth to provide genuine support, a supervisor responds with empathy and care, or a team fosters an environment where belonging and authentic relationships flourish. That magic—the power of relational connections—is what inspires and guides me in the implementation process.
I started Tailored Implementation to combine my passion for listening to others’ experiences, exploring relevant theories and strategies, and co-designing meaningful solutions. This work allows me to continuously learn while making an impact.
I also wanted to create a life that balanced my professional ambitions with being present for my family. Starting my own consultancy gave me the flexibility to be the mom I aspired to be and the chance to contribute to the work I’m passionate about. While the journey of balancing these worlds is ongoing, this leap has given me greater ownership of my time and direction.
Though I operate independently, I work in partnership with other consultants and partners to support projects and organizations as much as possible. I thrive in a team!

How I Work
I begin every partnership with deep listening and genuine connection to understand an organization’s goals, priorities, and resources. Initial engagements involve taking time to explore and develop an understanding of an organization’s goals, priorities, and resources. This curiosity allows us to co-create tailored strategies and a scope of work that connects their aspirations to actionable outcomes—whether through learning events, implementation diagnostics, skill-building sessions, evaluation methodologies or other approaches.
My process is intentionally evolving and iterative. We begin with a clear plan, but as we know, the journey of implementation is not linear. I work closely with teams to adapt, refine, and evolve the approach in real-time while balancing resources—because real progress happens when we embrace the unexpected.
What sets my work apart is a relational and responsive perspective that drives sustainable, meaningful change. To me, a relational perspective means focusing on building trust and understanding within the team, creating open communication, and fostering a culture of collaboration where all voices are valued. My approach is also responsive—continuously adjusting to meet the needs and challenges as they arise. I often work behind the scenes, ensuring that each solution is not only effective but also honors the unique dynamics of the organization. Ultimately, my goal is to cultivate an environment where strategies are deeply integrated and lead to lasting transformation.

Ways to Work Together (Services)
Below are a few ways we can collaborate. Every partnership is customized based on emerging priorities and organizational needs.
Learning Events – customized learning events based on learning goals. These can include introductory information on implementation science and evaluation concepts, to more detailed concepts like developing team cohesion through implementation support or giving and receiving feedback in the implementation space.
Teaming Diagnostics – thorough teaming assessments to identify team strengths and areas for growth, followed by reflective sessions focused on enhancing team cohesion and effectiveness over the developmental process of implementation.
Implementation Diagnostics and Planning – tailored quantitative and qualitative implementation-informed assessments to understand resources, infrastructure and priorities to inform the development of stage-based actionable implementation plans.
Forming and Facilitating Implementation Teams – provide support and facilitation in forming and engaging an Implementation team based on the stage of implementation to support exploration of potential new ways of work, or developing and guiding the organizational change process to implement something new.
Implementation Formative Evaluation Development – Co-create a tailored formative evaluation plan to understand and improve something you are implementing.
